Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, A Trunk Full of Dead Bodies formed as a side project in May of 2001. After nine months, Trunks found themselves a permanent line-up and released their first full-length entitled "The Hard Part..." on Third Times Too Late Music. Trunks' textured guitar work (mixed with seemingly dark overtones) quickly began to draw attention throughout the tri-state area. Backed by appearances on multiple compilations and a series of short tours, Trunks spent 2002 playing across the Northeast. At years end, Trunks joined up with Dressed to Kill Records (USA) and recorded 6 new songs for an EP entitled, "My Smile, Her Corpse". Three new songs have been added to the release.
