Their debut release was a fucking rocker on Pigdog Records so when they approached iatde about releasing a MCD I jumped at the chance. The Robots (as we affectionately call them) formed from a couple of already accomplished bands, which means that they had already honed the fine-art of tight-as-f**k riffs and driving rhythms to a tee right when they laid hell out of the very first power chord. They combine and rip apart equal parts of emotional hardcore, melodic rock, dynamic rhythms and alternated sung/screamed vocals to end up with a sound that both soothes you whilst simutaneously giving you a dark desire to rock-out like a crazy ape in your bedroom. But on their release on In At The Deep End you see them pay homage to the stylings of Minor Threat, with their Liebestod MCD (or The Hardcore EP), it even has a cover of Minor Threats 'No Reason' which Amy at Dischord has kindly given permission for. This truly rocks as does everything these guys touch. Three of the four members went on to form Send More Paramedics!!! Liebestod was the pre material to the Minor Threat influence in SMP.
