Quickly becoming a favorite for fans of all types of punk rock, Clit 45 exploded out of Long Beach when the boys were barely old enough to purchase cigarettes on their own. Clit 45 is part style, all substance and evokes the great acts like The Germs (and even a tinge of 7 Seconds!). Their earsplitting sound is matched with heartfelt insight into everything from the sheer mania and panic of youth to the pain and darkness of a life of drugs and self-loathing and the triumph of living and thriving in spite of having these issues present around you. Their sound may be what has caught the attention of their loyal fans (or perhaps it's their appearance) but it's what's in the lines of the songs that keeps them just a step above other young bands and what makes them one of the most promising acts today.
With one official full length, Self-Hate Crimes (April 2005/BYO Records), several EP's and dozens of self released tracks under their belt, Clit 45 have paid their dues opening for acts like The Unseen and the Casualties as well as other Punk powerhouses like the Subhumans and The Briefs. They've also headlined their own club tours across the country and into Canada to bigger and more rabid fans each time.
To the demand their loyal fans, Clit 45 have recorded a batch of out of print songs from past EP's and 7"s which will be released April 04, 2006 entitled 2,4,6,8...We're the kids you love to hate. The songs are clearly from their early years, but show the promise and talent that they showed very early on and is another stop in what will be likely a long, long history for this talented trio.
