X-Legacy was created in March of 2007 when former Coldsun bass player Jimmy got together with friend and drummer Greg. The two were searching for a guitarist when they came across George on craig's list. George was brought into the band along with another guitarist . After, about a month of pratice it become clear that the other guitarist was not right for the band and the search for another guitarist began. A few months later the band welcomed guitarist Cris into the band, after his band White Raven parted ways. Once the instrumental section was complete, they set off to find a singer. A hand full of auditions were held but nothing seemed to fit. As months rolled by the guys were consumed with writing, writing, and more writing trying to puzzle riffs and ideas together until they found a singer. Finally in mid-March Jackson, a co-worker of Greg's was asked to come out and audition for X Legacy. After a few practices with Jackson they all knew that he was the man for the job. Drawing from their many influences the band has managed to write the next wave of American metal. With their melody driven guitar riffs, thunderous bass lines, dynamic drum beats, and now fueled by a voice of vengeance the band's sound can be described in one word, metal.
